Daria nikolaeva

Daria Nikolaeva is a visual artist and photographer currently based in Bangkok.

 

Born in Saint Petersburg, she has lived in several countries, including Serbia, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

 

Her work is shaped by migration, cultural curiosity and a deep engagement with local environments.

 

Daria’s photography explores the connection between people, their environment and their craft. Working in a documentary style, she captures quiet moments, everyday life and the emotional depth of individuals within their cultural landscapes.

 

Her visual language is often inspired by nature — flowers, textures and organic elements — creating imagery that feels immersive and atmospheric.

 

By deeply engaging with each place she lives in, Daria creates stories that reflect both cultural identity and a personal sense of presence.

 

She is particularly interested in collaborating with brands and projects that value authenticity, storytelling and a strong visual identity.

 

In 2025, her work was selected for the IMAGENATION PARIS exhibition, where it was presented in the center of Paris alongside international photographers.

 

Today she continues to document people, cultures and places around the world, creating visual stories that invite the viewer to pause, observe and feel.
